Using Our Directory is Easy

It's as simple as ABC! First, click on your chosen state from our Welcome! (or Home) Page.

A page with a list of cities will then appear arranged alphabetically.

Select a city from among those that are listed. If your city of interest does not appear where you would expect it to be, we do not have a country inn or bed and breakfast listed for that city. Select a nearby city. Or perhaps the city or town you wanted may be near the border of  a neighboring state; you would then select  and click on the neighboring state and repeat ABC.

By moving your cursor over a city,  the B&B(s) or country inns located in or very near to that city will appear with links to their websites.

Click on a B&B's name and it will open the website of the selected B&B or country inn in another window.

Repeat the process until you find a B&B of your choice.

Tips for using this page: Leave as many sites open as you want. Close the ones you have no interest in. Review the open sites that interested you. Make your choice and follow the directions on their website to make a reservation.

This site was designed to be as user friendly as possible. In addition to links which open the websites of the B&Bs or country inns listed by state and city, we have included some other useful features.

You may wonder why others have chosen a particular B&B or country inn. All of the cities that are included in this website have a link that opens a website that includes relevant and interesting facts about it. In addition many of the listed B&Bs on any given page have comments from others who have stayed at the B&B or country inn you are considering. Those comments often reveal features of the B&B that may be of particular interest to you. Interested in unusual vacation ideas while staying in the area? You will want to visit these pages frequently; you may find them here. The B&B or country inn may also have advertised specials and/or other information that may be useful to you. You will find something similar to this box below on most pages of our website - all the names of the B&Bs with links to their website on that page will be listed here again. Those that have a link will open a page including their information.  If there is no link, the B&B has not included any additional information, (these links work; try them):

To help you find a particular B&B within a given state, you may find that the state map may be useful to you. You find a B&B that is in Stoystown, PA, for example. It sounds interesting, but is it anywhere near where you want to stay? Click on the thumbnail picture of the state map (on the page where the B&B is listed), and it will open in a new page that has a full-size copy of the state map. You will see many graphics just like this one on the map . It indicates a BnB is in the area. Hold your cursor over it; a BnB name will appear. Click on the symbol which is on the map. It will open the named BnB's website in another page. Was the B&B in Stoystown near where you wanted to stay? This feature assists you in getting a visual idea of where your selected B&B or country inn is located while giving you immediate access to their website. Perhaps you have forgotten the name of the B&B where you want to stay, but remember approximately where it was located? Use our maps to quickly find the "lost" B&B again!

You may know of a country inn, bed and breakfast, or other interesting place to stay that does not have a link in the Bed and Breakfast Co-op directory.  We want our site to be as up to date and comprehensive as possible. So, if your favorite B&B does not have a link on our website, we welcome you to contact us about them. Click here to give us as many details as you can (or, if you prefer, go to our information page by clicking on "contact us" above). We especially need to know what the B&B's or country inn's website address is. If you don't know what it is, tell them about us. They may give us their own info if they choose to have a link on our website. [You could mention to them that Bed and Breakfast Co-op includes their first link in their directory at no cost to them. It's absolutely FREE  - no ad to buy, no come-on to design a website for them, no strings attached! ;- ) ] Thank you for your help!
