What's for breakfast at The Garver House Bed and Breakfast?  Each morning hot coffee is available, just outside your door at the coffee station on the second floor foyer. It's ready at 7:30; just grab a cup and take it back to your room while you are getting ready for the day.  Breakfast is served in the dining room with candle light and soft relaxing background music.  A choice of juices is always served, then a fruit dish such as baked pears, broiled fruit kabobs or fruit salad with sorbet.  Just when you thought breakfast was over out comes the main course!  Either sweet or savory, their entrees are served piping hot. Some of our entrees may include Blueberry Croissant French Toast, Western Omelet Strata, Gingerbread pancakes with Lemon sauce or Egg Nests with country hash browns.  On most days a bread is also served: homemade cherry chip scones, cinnamon rolls, buttermilk or cornmeal biscuits or a yummy coffee cake.  Don't forget the hot coffee (or tea or cocoa). They guarantee you will not leave their B&B hungry.

The Garver House Bed and Breakfast has had a long and interesting history. The original owner of the Garver House was G Albert Garver founder of the historic Garver Brothers Store, better known as the World's largest country store.  The Garver Store put Strasburg, Ohio on the map back in the late 1800's. The Garver Bros. store not only thrived but became a legend in retail sales for more than 100 years.  Members of the Garver family occupied the Garver House from 1902 when it was built until 2002 when Grace Garver passed away at the age of 104. Today the Garver House is in pristine condition even though because it was in their family for 100 years.

The Garver House Bed and Breakfast has 3 bedrooms open to the public.  All rooms have private baths en suite.  All rooms include HDTV with DVD players, A/C, ceiling fans, wireless internet - full breakfast and evening dessert and beverages.
